How does it feel to be a recipient of a Fraser Foundation scholarship?

I feel so honoured to have been chosen! It makes me feel believed in. As a mature age student it can be a daunting thought - so this takes care of some of the stresses as well as inspires me to do the very best I can!

What inspired you to pursue a career in Early Childhood Education?

I am passionate about the early years, I love seeing little minds learn new things! I love teaching little ones, this is another step forward in my Early Childhood Education career.

What is the best and most challenging parts of working with young children?

My favourite part about working with young children is the connections you make with both the children and families. I love how you can help comfort a little one with big feelings and be their safe space. The most challenging would be helping children through behavioural difficulties.

Is there anything else you’d like to mention?

I love all opportunities for growth. I love learning new ways of teaching children and helping them grow. I am a nurturer at heart and it brings me great joy to nurture children.
