Meet the Board
The Fraser Foundation is governed by a volunteer board that provides strategic oversight of the organisation. Our directors bring together experience across early childhood education, business, finance and communications, and they share one goal: helping passionate educators build rewarding careers that shape the lives of young children. Meet the people guiding our work.
Jae has worked in early learning and education for more than 20 years. A university-qualified teacher, he holds a Bachelor of Education, an Advanced Diploma of Early Childhood Education and several business management qualifications, and has worked across the profession — from the classroom through to service management and executive roles in Australia and Singapore. He has been an active committee member of Australian Childcare Alliance Queensland for more than a decade — as committee member, treasurer, vice president and president — and sits on the ACA National Executive. Jae founded Little Scholars School of Early Learning and is passionate about supporting educators and leaders to run healthy services while delivering the highest quality of care and education.

Andrew is an award-winning marketing professional with over 25 years’ experience, having led marketing for a range of organisations including a multi-million-dollar travel company. He holds a Master of Marketing, a Bachelor of Business and a Bachelor of Hotel Management. Andrew is a co-founder and part owner of Little Scholars School of Early Learning and The Scholars Group, where he leads marketing and social media across the group’s campuses. He is passionate about early learning and loves hearing and sharing stories of educators achieving incredible outcomes for children.
Andrew Heslehurst (Co-Founder)
Jeremy, an associate director at ShineWing Australia, has spent the best part of 20 years helping individuals and businesses in the early learning sector to succeed. Married to an early learning professional, he has seen first-hand the impact educators have on young lives. Jeremy holds a Master of Business Administration, a Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) and an Advanced Diploma in Advanced Accounting, and is proud to help the Foundation take a leading role in lifting early learning through scholarships and research.
Jeremy Wicht (Board Member)
Kat is a seasoned communications specialist and co-founder and director of JAG, a leading creative communications agency on the Gold Coast, with 15 years’ experience in media and communications. She has worked with some of Australia’s leading companies, including Southern Cross Austereo, Dreamworld and McCann Worldgroup. Creating thought-provoking campaigns that inspire action drives Kat. As a proud board member and mum to a daughter in early childhood education, she is committed to making an impact through meaningful conversations with human connection at their heart
